Mobility is the basis for social participation, social exchange and individual freedom. With increasing age, mobility decreases, among other things due to physical limitations and the associated perceived insecurity. I am happy to announce, that in this context a new AI project has been granted (36 months, 690,000 EUR, funded by the Federal Office of Family Affairs and Civil Society Functions, as well as the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth). In this project, a comprehensible, user-adaptive system of recommended actions in the sense of Citizen Science and Positive Computing is co-developed with the target group of seniors and evaluated in the field. Individual mobility barriers are reduced and the mobility behavior of older people is strengthened in the long term. I will conduct this project together with my great colleague Prof. Dr.-Ing.
